Usually with stock photography the right to use the image is sold. For instance when I sold my waterlily photo to Sierra Club Cards they bought five-year card rights for that photo.
![]() That meant I was free to sell the right to use the same photograph for anything other than cards. Pricing the use of stock photographs is not an exact science.
